Job Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyse client requirements, goals, and objectives for their website. Conduct meetings to gather information about the target audience, business needs, and desired features.
- Develop a comprehensive plan for the website, including site structure, navigation, and functionality. Outline the technology and tools needed to achieve the client’s goals.
- Create design concepts, including wireframes and prototypes, to illustrate the layout and structure of the website. Work closely with clients to refine and finalize the design before implementation.
- Develop visually appealing graphics, images, and other visual elements that align with the client’s brand and enhance the user experience.
- Use programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring the design to life. Ensure that the website is responsive, functional, and compatible with various browsers and devices.
- Integrate content management systems (CMS) to allow clients to easily update and manage their website content without extensive technical knowledge.
- Focus on creating an optimal user experience by improving website usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough testing of the website to identify and address any bugs, glitches, or compatibility issues. Ensure that the website performs well across different platforms and devices.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance the website’s visibility on search engines. This includes optimizing content, meta tags, and other elements to improve search rankings.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to ensure that the websites developed are modern, relevant, and competitive.
- Effectively manage projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources, to ensure timely and successful delivery of web design projects.
Requirements:
- B2B background, ideally in software, technology, or property.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with UK and US teams.
- Ideally familiarity with iOS and Android application design.
